1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Fintrail, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Fintrail — Budget Smarter, Live Better — is a personal finance management tool that helps users track income and expenses, schedule bill payments, set savings goals, manage debt, and access AI-powered financial guidance. The app is available in a free tier and a paid Pro tier at $4.99/month.

3. Pro Subscription

• Pro costs $4.99/month with a 7-day free trial
• You will not be charged during the trial period
• Cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid charges
• Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until cancelled
• Refunds are handled case-by-case — contact us within 7 days of a charge
• Level-based loyalty rewards are one-time use, non-transferable, and issued at our discretion

3A. Founding Member Pricing

Users who subscribe to Fintrail Pro on or before January 31, 2027, may qualify for Founding Member pricing. Qualified Founding Members will retain their $4.99 monthly subscription rate for as long as their subscription remains active and in good standing.

If a Founding Member cancels their subscription, they may re-subscribe within 90 days of cancellation and retain their Founding Member pricing. If more than 90 days pass after cancellation, Founding Member pricing may be forfeited, and any future subscription may be subject to the then-current subscription rate, including the planned $6.99 monthly rate after January 31, 2027.

Founding Members may also receive a Founding Member badge and access to select promotional benefits offered by Fintrail.

Fintrail reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or replace subscription plans for future subscribers without affecting eligible Founding Members who maintain an active subscription or re-subscribe within the 90-day grace period.

4. User Responsibilities

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Fintrail
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You agree not to share your account credentials with others
• You agree not to attempt to manipulate the XP or rewards system through fraudulent means
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter

5. Not Financial Advice

All content provided by Fintrail — including AI Advisor responses, debt payoff calculations, investment projections, and credit score simulations — is for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making major financial decisions.

6. AI Financial Advisor

The AI Advisor feature is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI. Responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate or up to date. Do not rely solely on AI responses for important financial decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and features of Fintrail are owned by Fintrail and protected by copyright law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Fintrail Pro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any financial losses, data loss, or damages resulting from your use of the app. Use Fintrail at your own risk.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of Fintrail after changes constitutes acceptance.
